hojaschicb.gifOne of the most fascinating developments in the humanities is the creation and study of digital literature. Very often these works of digital literature are multi-media, and in addition to text, involve images, audio, video, and user interaction. But how has digital literature been presented to audiences? Should digital literature be exhibited as literature or art? The purpose of this project “The Future of Digital Literature” is to explore ways to exhibit digital literature that makes use of the potential of digital technology to make events that are mobile and dispersed throughout the environment. Using the Electronic Literature Collection which has anthologized key works of digital literature online, the project will conceive of what a digitally born exhibit would look like on the UPR Cayey campus and what would it mean for the future of digital literature.
